How to Customize Export Transcript Format

Step 1: Selecting your Episode


To begin, look for the episode on a project where you want to modify the transcript format, then head to the "Settings" page.



Step 2: Edit the Transcript Format


On the Settings page, scroll down to the section that allows you to customize the transcript format. This is where you have the flexibility to adjust the appearance of your transcripts. The formatting options are entirely editable, simply arrange the variables in the order to your liking. You will also be given a preview, of what your transcript will look like once exported.




A common format where a timestamp For example, your format can look like this if you want the lines in your transcript to start with a timestamp following the name of the speaker and its dialogue:

{start} : {Speaker} {text}.

Feel free to experiment with different combinations that suit your preferences!


Step 3: Apply Changes


Once you've finalized the desired format, hit "Save" to apply the changes. Your customized format will reflect once you export your transcript.
